Thackers Pharmacy

So hope you all had a great christmas and new year. We finished off the year on a high by coming second in the Alliance Healthcare awards for best small community pharmacy. We also sent out over christmas our first Thackers Pharmacy News. This is a new newsletter written by our two excellent pre-registrations students Haider and Fatemeh. The newsletter will include health tips depending on the season, current promotions and any latest news. I hope you will find it informative. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. So for 2011 what do we want to achieve. We have set a few goals so far including providing a minor ailment service (feel better fast), re-introduce cardiovascular checks which were a great success and hopefully compete with the supermarkets for promotions. 

Regarding staff we have a new supervisor Paul Davies, a new temporary staff Jennifer Harding-leach to replace Sarah's maternity and and a new driver hopefully starting early February. Peter the driver has left due to becoming semi retired and wanting more time off. We wish Peter well as he was a great asset to the company.

So lets hope 2011 is a healthy and prosperous new year
